As doll-making techniques improved during the Edo period, regional lords and wealthy merchants started commissioning lavish Hinadan dolls as special wedding gifts for their daughters.

Today, it is customary for many Japanese parents and grandparents to present their daughters and granddaughters with Hina Dolls on their first HinaMatsuri, symbolizing their wishes for happiness and good health.

The name of the doll will appear, and your task is to correctly place it on the step-altar according to the rules. Upon successfully positioning a doll in the correct spot, you will hear the traditional sound of a Japanese drum called "Pong," indicating your success. If you choose an incorrect placement, a disapproving "Boo" sound will be heard, and the seat will not adjust to accommodate the doll. Keep trying until you find the right spot for each doll.
